ElasticSearch Engineer - Techlead (W/M)

In order to support our technical services and reach our goals, we are looking for a Technology and Engineering leader to join our team in Préverenges, Switzerland. We are looking for someone who is experienced in shipping products for use on premise, and a SaaS. The ideal candidate will be used to take critical decisions in the evolution of a big product and platform over the years and releases. He/She will be experienced in leading large projects with a coherent vision while making appropriate compromises along the way. Some of the things you'll work on: - Lead the efforts to evolve the architecture of the Elastic Stack and the roadmap to implement it in our company; - Understand and describe the whole arc of the user experience for each of the Stack use cases; - Lead technical discussions and requirements analysis to drive alignment with customers needs; - Review and approve implementation designs for the Elastic Stack; - Advise Elastic’s leadership team on emerging and important technologies and industry trends; - Represent company at conferences and networking events; - Mentor engineering team on the Elastic stack. You have: - An extensive experience in a technical leadership role with a distributed datastore, and/or data analysis product -Worked as an architect or technical lead experience on large projects - Record of successfully inheriting existing medium-to-large scale projects - Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Written skills are key to success in working with our distributed teams) You are: - A great teammate with strong analytical, problem solving, debugging and troubleshooting skills. - Interested in Security and log management - Experienced in mentoring teams and sharing knowledge - Stress resistant and positive - Proficient in English, good command of French a big asset - Swiss resident, or EU citizen willing to relocate
