Die wirtschaftliche Landesversorgung stellt die Verfügbarkeit von Gütern und Dienstleistungen sicher, die für das Funktionieren einer modernen Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft unentbehrlich sind. Im Falle eines Versorgungsengpasses greift sie mit gezielten Massnahmen in das Marktgeschehen ein, um entstandene Angebotslücken zu schliessen. Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien (IKT) sind für Unternehmen unabdingbar geworden. Sie durchdringen alle Branchen, was sich positiv auf Produktivität und Effizienz der Wirtschaft auswirkt. Sollte die Telekommunikation grossflächig ausfallen, wäre die Funktionsfähigkeit der Wirtschaft gefährdet. Die WL fokussiert deshalb auf die Stärkung der Widerstandsfähigkeit (Resilienz) dieser Branche. Zur Zielerreichung arbeitet die WL eng mit den betreffenden Anbietern und Betreibern zusammen. Sie ermittelt Verwundbarkeiten in den Telekommunikationsinfrastrukturen. Sind diese identifiziert, können sie angegangen und damit die Widerstandsfähigkeit der Dienstleistungen gestärkt werden.  

L'approvisionnement économique du pays (AEP) garantit la disponibilité des biens et services indispensables à une économie moderne et à la société. En cas de pénurie, il intervient dans le marché avec des mesures ciblées pour rétablir l'offre. Les technologies de l'information et de la communication (TIC) sont indispensables à nos entreprises. Elles ont envahi toutes les branches, améliorant ainsi la productivité et l'efficacité de notre économie. Si les télécommunications étaient paralysées à large échelle, notre économie ne pourrait guère fonctionner. L'AEP vise donc à renforcer la résistance (résilience) de cette branche. Pour atteindre cet objectif, l'AEP collabore étroitement avec les prestataires et exploitants concernés. Il cerne les éléments vulnérables dans les infrastructures de télécommunication. Une fois ces derniers identifiés, on pourra s'en occuper, renforçant ainsi la résilience des services de télécoms. 

The National Economic Supply guarantees the availability of goods and services that are essential if a modern economy and society is to function properly. In the event of supply shortages, it intervenes in the market with measures to plug the gaps in supply. Our businesses would not be able to function without information and communications technologies (ICT). They are omnipresent in every sector of the economy, improving efficiency and productivity. If the ICT system were to fail on a large scale, the economy would no longer be able to function. NES therefore focuses on strengthening the resilience of this sector. To achieve this goal, the FONES works closely with the relevant suppliers and operators. It identifies vulnerabilities in the telecommunications infrastructures; once identified, they can be addressed and ICT services made more resilient.
